Amicalola EMC has an immediate opening for Member Service Representative.
This position will provide high-quality, positive, and professional customer service to all Amicalola EMC customers and internal team members.
The MSR role is required to answer phone calls, handle cash payments, and help members successfully navigate our operating procedures to meet their electric needs.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional education in business or customer service preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Prior experience in customer service required.
ABILITIES AND SKILLS
Ability to learn internal software and maintain member data efficiently and accurately
Skilled in accepting and posting a variety of payments and maintaining a cash drawer
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, etc
Communicate well on the telephone and with members
Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, written and oral communication skills are necessary
Must be able to work independently and manage time
Must maintain a valid driver's license
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or cashier counter, standing, bending, and stretching.
Occasional lifting and carrying office supplies < 25 lbs.
Ability to use a computer, phone, cash register, and other office equipment efficiently.
Ability to travel to district offices as needed.
Position will be onsite, M-F.
