Public Transportation Driver (part-time)

*Transit Operator* The position of public transportation driver is responsible for transportation of the public, the elderly and disabled in a safe and timely manner.
Direct engagement with the public is required and some responsibilities include, but are not limited to, operating a lift to load and unload passengers in wheelchairs, helping visually impaired passengers and assisting all passengers as needed.
Qualifications include excellent vehicle operation skills and the capability of interacting appropriately with diverse groups of people.
Driver must be 21 years of age, must maintain a valid Tennessee Class D Driver's License with an F endorsement, pre-employment DOT physical, background check and drug screen after job offer.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $14.
