Delivery Driver

Role Purpose: The Chick-fil-A Dalton Delivery Driver is a team member dedicated to the execution of catering deliveries and outside sales on an on-call basis.
Responsibilities/Requirements: · Available to be “on-call” Monday-Friday between the hours of 9am-1pm · Required to call in to Catering Director by 8am on the days scheduled to be “on-call” to see what time you are needed · Be available to arrive at the restaurant for catering deliveries with 1-hour notice for last minute orders during “on-call” time · Must have a Georgia state driver’s license and proof of insurance · Must have a vehicle and be willing to use said vehicle for catering deliveries if catering van is not available.
· Agree to a mileage reimbursement on each check (every other week).
Gas budget will not be available, but mileage will be reimbursed on team member’s check · Must be able and willing to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Must have an operating and charged cell phone and willing to use it while working to contact guests and catering director · Must strictly adhere to Chick-fil-A Team Member appearance and uniform requirements · Must complete catering pathway training and be self-sufficient in preparation of catering and execution of deliveries · Required to know all catering item temperatures and food safety procedures · Be willing to pick-up occasional breakfast and dinner deliveries if available Skills & Qualities · Proven self-starter · Strong communication skills · Capable and passionate about building relationships with guests · Time management · Flexible · Detail-oriented and observant · Ability to multi-task and make decisions quickly · Resilient – able to handle setbacks
