*Role Description:*
Join the dedicated team at Red Baron Transportation as a Local Driver in our Calhoun, GA location.
We are seeking committed, experienced, and dedicated Truck Drivers for our local delivery routes.
In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a semi-truck, transporting raw material from our warehouse to customer local destinations.
Your goal will be to ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods, upholding our standard of service excellence.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles
* Adhere to assigned schedules and routes, ensuring timely completion.
* Utilize electronic devices for job-related tasks.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, coworkers, and customers.
* Regular sitting and occasional lifting.
* Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
*Qualification Standards:*
* Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
* Possess a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Class A driving or similar roles.
* Demonstrate strong attention to detail and adherence to schedules and delivery timelines.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, showcasing reliability and punctuality.
* Exhibit a positive attitude, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.
* Hold a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (Med Card).
* Own steel-toed shoes and gloves.

* Hazmat certified drivers earn an additional $1 per hour.
