Some of the biggest issues truck drivers face these days are related to low quality equipment and a lack of available tractors.
That’s why we take great pride in maintaining our fleet and ensuring we always have tractors available for our drivers.
Here’s how we keep our drivers rolling:
* Maintaining 99% trailer availability and 98% tractor availability.
* Keeping our average age of fleet under three years.
* Having 25 company-owned repair shop locations, over 100 Schneider service truck technicians and 8,500 service vendors available nationwide.
* Providing a 24/7 emergency maintenance phone line to support drivers when they need help.
But that’s not all Schneider is doing to enhance the driver experience.
Schneider is also making the following updates:
* Increasing our service truck fleet by 30%.
* Providing tablets that allow drivers to request service without calling in.
* Rolling out 2023 model year auto-transmission trucks spec’d with memory foam mattresses, fridges and top-of-the-line technology.
