We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A Driver to join our team.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and operating trucks to transport goods and materials to various destinations while adhering to safety standards and regulations.
The ideal candidate should have a clean driving record, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering goods safely and efficiently.
Job Description:
Drive and operate trucks to transport goods and materials to various destinations
Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure that they are in good working condition
Adhere to safety standards and regulations while operating the vehicle
Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure that all paperwork is complete and correct
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
Load and unload goods and materials using appropriate equipment
Ensure that goods are delivered on time and in good condition
Report any accidents, violations, or mechanical issues to the appropriate parties
Distribution of natural stone slabs in Charleston & Savannah areas.
This is an M-F full-time, 40/hr per week position.

Requirements:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial truck driver
Clean driving record
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience with the Georgia port.
Current TWIC card.
Container experience.
