Key Facts:
Position: Regional Over-The-Road Class A CDL Driver.
Home Time: Home every Friday and Saturday.
Pay: 54 cents per mile (loaded and unloaded).
Schedule: 1 or 2 nights on the road per week; 2 days of local work.
Company Type: Small transportation company.
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision benefits available after 90 days.
Requirements: Clean CDL license, 1 year OTR experience or 2 years local experience, safety-first attitude.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Transport goods over regional distances, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's safety and compliance.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, with a strong focus on safety.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
1 year of Over-The-Road (OTR) experience or 2 years of local driving experience.
Strong commitment to safety and a safety-first attitude.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to operate a commercial vehicle safely and responsibly.
Flexible schedule to accommodate regional travel and local work.
