Media Relations Intern JOB SUMMARY: If you are driven to deliver exceptional fan experiences that are beyond anything possible elsewhere and interested in working alongside a team of innovators and enthusiastic over-achievers, you will enjoy working with us! ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Prepare pre-game media notes and post-game recaps for media distribution.
Write and edit press releases and posting website stories.
Assist in management of social media accounts.
Assist in organization of media interview requests and credentials.
Assist in press box operation as needed.
Perform similar day-to-day duties of all trainees when asked.
Assist with basic office requests, answer phones, database management and other clerical duties.
Work with other departments as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience in media relations and/or undergrad SID work a plus.
Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok platforms and their best practices (preferred).
Proficiency with Adobe Suite products (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
Proficiency in basic computer skills such as Word, Excel, etc.
Reliable and punctual with ability to work flexible schedule.
Some manual labor required including pulling tarp.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to multi-task and work independently.
