A Outside Salesman is responsible for receiving customer requests, gathering and quoting requests, and ordering materials.
An Outside Salesman should have excellent customer service skills and be able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Develop relationships with new and current commercial and industrial contractor accounts to solicit orders
Promote the company sales plan while accurately recording all IMARK activities in support of the plan
Develop successful strategy and resolution practices with appropriate Inline Electric Supply or supplier personnel
Order materials and manage orders
Maintain profitability quotas while achieving designated sales goals for the assigned territory
Keep current product information, procedures, pricing, delivery, inventory availability, backorder status, and all value-added product information up to date
Exercise a degree of independent thinking, discretion, and control in the pursuit of the company’s marketing and sales objectives
Perform all other duties as assigned by department manager or leadership team

Punctuality
Electrical material knowledge is preferred
Education and Experience:
No history of drug or alcohol abuse
Valid driver’s license with approved clean driver vehicle report
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Ability to climb, grasp, reach, and crouch
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to see with visual acuity
