Sounds like you might be looking for the opportunity we have on our team in the Calhoun/Rome area for another Starr in commercial insurance sales.
Here’s what we’re looking for: · Ability to analyze a potential client’s overall business and confidently propose insurance solutions that meet their needs · Direct the sales process in placement of coverages by understanding markets and working with underwriters to negotiate the best premium and risk outcomes · Works directly with account managers in obtaining information needed to place coverage or maintain coverage after the sale · Be a resource to policy holders in the claims process in the event of a loss · Stay current in acumen regarding your clients’ business and industry trends that should be addressed before each renewal including upgrading their portfolio of coverages · Investing in long term relationships with your clients, our carriers and our account management team · Organized and dedicated to the daily prospecting required to meet your new business goals · Willing to train on our agency management system to be able to access client information and savvy to use carrier websites for quoting and market research · Responsible for collection of premiums and an overall ownership mentality for your accounts · Committed to personal responsibility in addressing client needs and within agency procedures to maintain ethical and timely results Prefer college and/or strong resume of sales success – even if it wasn’t in insurance.
To perform this job successfully must have knowledge of Internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and contact management software systems.
Must hold applicable state insurance license or have the ability to obtain such within 90 days of employment.
Must hold a valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving history.
