Job Title Philadelphia Commercial Product Director Position Overview Philadelphia commercial aspires to be top-of-mind as the single source commercial flooring provider, we partner with architectural and design firms, end users and dealers to provide the right balance of design, speed and price.
Our speed, breadth, value, service/ease of transaction enable clients to get the best design for their budget and timeline.
The focus for this role includes consumer strategy, customer acquisition and demand generation, customer experience and meeting revenue and profitability targets and will have a direct impact on Shaw’s success and the success of each stakeholder group.
We’re looking for a leader who is strategic, social, and highly-motivated to lead a team and and develop consumer centric brand strategy within a fast-paced, innovative, and customer-centric organization.
They must be able to navigate complexity and communicate effectively to a broad, diverse organization.
They need to be passionate about building a business focused on consumer segments, channel success and profitable growth for Shaw.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and Implement Product Strategy Working with a cross functional team including marketing, sales, design and other key stakeholders to create a product roadmap that anticipates the needs of consumers and identifies product opportunities to create value.
Manage Product Lifecycle Lead the product cycle for the brand including streamlining product development and launch, SKU rationalization, being a catalyst for cross function collaboration, working to align market needs with efficient manufacturing processes, reviewing and working to ensure quality and service standards, and end of life management to ensure our product line is productive and financially additive.
Product Pricing Looking at the competitive landscape, customer/consumer demand and product value, the Product Director in collaboration with the Marketing Director and Design Director will establish pricing strategy for all new introductions.
Competitive Assessment Management Collaborate with Category Teams and Sales Geographies by scanning the competitive landscape and maintaining competitive analysis consistently to ensure the organization is responsive to threats and inform market opportunities.
Sample Management Oversee sample process from inception to launch while capturing ROI.
Inclusive of inventory, sample budgets, communications, GTM and being POC for sample department.
Organize, train and motivate organization’s understanding and acceptance of brand Bring the voice of our sales force and other disciplines into the organization through connected feedback loops and advocacy with a goal of amplifying their voice.
Working in conjunction with the product teams and others connected to sales.
Working with the Customer and Sales Enablement Team to create and execute training programs.

Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform product decisions Essential Duties: Contribute to the growth of profitable market share within the brand’s product lines Successfully introduce and receive customer adoption of product solutions Collaborate with internal partners on demand planning for all product categories Efficiency gains in the product development process Effectively communicate and execute brand product strategy Non-essential Duties: Must have ability to make sound decisions based on customer, company, and employee needs Must have leadership abilities, exemplify professionalism, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive issues.
Must develop and implement alternate solutions.
Perform required duties with a minimum of expenses.
Attend and actively participate in meetings as assigned.

Other Requirements: Extensive experience in product management Proven track record of successful product innovation and market growth Bachelor's Degree.
Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
5 years Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
Must be self-motivated and possess good organizational skills.
Requires good communication skills.
Requires good time management skills.
Must work well under pressure.
Must conduct oneself professionally both in the workplace and the community.
Accept assignments that require additional training.
Must be a team player.
Training Requirements: Attending training as necessary.
Safety & Security Requirements: Must abide by corporate rules and regulations.
