We're looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our team and help connect America.
As a Quality Control Technician you will perform duties related to inspecting worksites prior to the crews starting construction and completing final inspections to ensure scope of work performed is within standards required by customers.
What you'll do.

Scout construction sites ahead of work crews to identify issues between OSP engineering and construction plans
Interact with customers to identify changes in engineered jobs to meet construction requirements
Work closely with the local supervisors in establishing Work Order Change Forms and obtain approvals from the customer.
Complete final inspections to ensure scope of work performed is within standards required by customers.
Operate vehicle following all safety and traffic regulations including daily maintenance of vehicle
Follow all safety procedures in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years construction experience in cable/telecommunications industry including both aerial and buried construction and maintenance.
The position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Familiar with OSP construction standards and processes, along with facility locates.
Familiar with all construction methods relating to State and Federal Regulations and Safety Standards.
The position requires effective planning, organization and motivational skills.
Valid Driver's license required.
Strong computer skills needed, also proficient with Microsoft Office.
