*Position Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician*
*Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor*
*SUMMARY:*
Perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on the warehouse.
Performs variety of skilled duties in one or more of the building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing the building and campus.
*PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection and maintenance necessary to building exterior/interior
· Maintain building heat and air systems
· Assists and performs with installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, carpet, and mechanics
· Order parts and material for the maintenance of the building
· Provide regular maintenance on the air compressor and generator
· Maintain restrooms and kitchens repairs and plumbing needs
· Maintain electrical issues that arise including troubleshooting or replacing bulbs
· Regular ground maintenance including mowing, fertilizing, tree trimming, etc.
· Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:*
· Mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and plumbing knowledge and experience.
· Work independently with little direction
· Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
· Quickly troubleshoot and resolve problems and resolve maintenance problems
· Must be capable of lifting of up to 50 lb; must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
· Current forklift certification a plus
· Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment
*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:*
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 2+ years experience as a semi-skilled worker in one or more of the basic building maintenance trades and/or one year experience in a warehouse operation
· Valid drivers license with clean driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.
