Production and Samples Utility

The Coveworks is a small, family oriented company that has been in business since 1997.
We are looking for a Production Associate to join our team and help with light manufacturing tasks and sample production.
The position includes following written work orders to process rolls of carpet on a cut table, slitting equipment and industrial sewing machines.
Additional responsibilities include various tasks in the production of samples such as operating other cutting equipment, operating pad printing equipment and sample assembly.
Training will be provided in all aspects for the right candidate.
The job is a hands on position where no two days are exactly alike.
This job is best suited for someone who can work without close supervision, who takes pride in the quality of their work, and has good attention to detail.

The minimum qualifications required to successfully perform this job include: *Detail-oriented, positive attitude and the ability to take initiative without constant supervision * Possess basic mathematical skills *Basic mechanical skills are preferred * Physically able to drive lift trucks and company vehicles if needed *Able to occasionally make local pickups and deliveries in company truck proffered * Ability to comply with all safety and housekeeping regulations *Competent communication skills in both written and verbal English * Physical requirements involve mostly standing and walking, with occasional moderate lifting.
The job is 40hrs per week, first shift, Monday through Friday.
