What we need:
The Sr Risk Management Analyst is a high performing contributor that will serve as a risk management subject matter expert, supporting the administration of sound risk management practices, assessing risks within all areas of the company.
This role will be responsible for analyzing risks, evaluating controls, and working collaboratively with various departments to enhance the overall risk management framework.
What you’ll do:
Support property risk engineering surveys at all company facilities.
Maintain list of Risk Engineering recommendations and work with internal and external partners to facilitate completion of risk improvement projects.
Support the renewal process, working with internal and external partners to collect and validate exposure information, prior to submission to the broker(s)
Maintain binders, insurance policies and schedules for all lines of coverage.
Communicate renewal certificates and Auto ID cards to business upon renewal or as needed.
Support insurance policy audits, working with parties to appropriately capture requested items.
Review indemnity and insurance related provisions in agreements and work with counterparties to improve terms and amicably address any compliance issues.
Identify opportunities and implement initiatives to streamline and enhance risk management processes and improve efficiency.
Review and validate losses against the monthly deductible invoicing before initiating payment to insurer(s).
Create and deliver loss related reports for various business needs as requested.
In coordination with the Safety points of contact, support the Contractor Onboarding process with respect to insurance compliance and timely publishing of the Approved Contractor List on the corporate intranet.
Monitor servicing standards of vendors providing Risk and Insurance related services to mohawk.
Review and code invoices to the appropriate entity.
Support and field information requests from claims adjusters and related parties pertaining to losses.
Facilitate all requests for Surety Bonds, working with Broker and requesting party to ensure timely issuance.
Maintain and track outstanding bonds for close-out where applicable.
Track, report and ensure timely Workers’ Compensation assessments are paid for respective jurisdictions.

What you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance or Accounting preferred.
3-5 years of experience in Corporate Risk Management OR equivalent combination of education, skills and experience.
ARM, CPCU or similar Risk/Insurance designations preferred.

Technologically savvy and proficient in Microsoft Suite of products
Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline.
Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player.
High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
