Description
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Manages and directs departmental efforts to ensure that the company produces a quality product, on time delivery to internal and external customers in compliance with operational, financial and legal standards.
Develops department business plan to company guiding principles and goals.
Ensures company policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to
Responsible for the hiring, compensation, performance and disciplinary processes as well as supervisory and management development
Adherence to company budget to ensure profitability and efficiencies are obtained.
Promotes a safety first attitude and provides safe work environment for his/her department
When accomplishing tasks, remember to work toward meeting overall company goals established which include, OSHA safety compliance, ISO 14001 Environmental Compliance, Ethical & Legal compliance, Customer Quality, Production to Plan, and Delivery Performance.
Preferred Skills:
Ability to work with others in a team environment
Good problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills, able to build friendly work relationships
Familiar with manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures
Minimum Experienced Required: Minimum Education Required
Previous management in related field * BA or BS or equivalent experience

Associate Education, Communication and Benefits
Meet Business Plan goals annually
Reports Attendance, turnover, Labor and Benefits, SG & A expenses
IDEA and Compliance & Ethics, Corporate Governance, 401K
Workers comp case management
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, to use hand to finger; handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
Occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear.
Requires regular lifting of weights up to 5 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
